Practice Management Program Details

The Practice Management Program is divided into two courses. Course 1 is entirely virtual and comprised of pre-recorded lectures, demonstration videos and live Q&A sessions with the faculty. Course 2 will consist of a 1.5 day in-person course. Currently, only registration for Course 1 is available. The first half of Course 1 is available now and the second half of Course 1 will be released on
March 17, 2025.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the importance of building and standardizing reimbursement procedures
- Explore effective practice management models
- Build strategies for team buy-in and training
- Plan ways to meet patients where they are and customize treatment plans
- Discover strategies to encourage patients to follow through with recommended treatment
- Develop procedures for follow up appointments and ensuring patient adherence
- Build a trust-based referral network in your area
Dentists and clinical and administrative team members in general and specialized dental practices with an interest in screening for or treating patients with sleep-related breathing disorders.
While not required, it is strongly encouraged that dentists complete the AADSM Mastery Program and team members complete the DSM Team Training Program prior to registering for the Practice Management Program.
Course 1
Part 1- Pre-Recorded Lectures and Demos

Presentations are comprised primarily of 10-minute to one-hour lectures and demos to ensure that the information is provided in short, digestible pieces that can be easily referenced as dentists and team members apply their knowledge in practice.
Part 2 - Pre-Recorded Lectures and Demos + Live, Virtual Q&A Sessions

There will be three, one-hour virtual question and answer sessions where the faculty will be available to engage in open dialogue and answer your questions. These sessions will take place in June, July, and August 2025. The dates and times for each session will be available soon.
Course 2 – In-Person Course
Course 2 will be a weekend-long, highly interactive course that will take place in fall 2025. Registration for this course will be separate from Course 1. More information will be added here as it becomes available.
Discussion Board
Practice Management participants will have access to a private, online discussion board. Faculty members will be checking the forum regularly to answer your questions.
Course 1 is an electronically mediated, self-instructional continuing education activity, conducted through recorded lectures and demonstrations and live Q&A sessions using Zoom. When accessing the recordings in Course 1, it is recommended that you use either Chrome or Firefox internet browsers. It is also recommended that you avoid using a cell phone. Access to the recordings will not expire.
Course 2 will be a live, in-person course.
The AADSM is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
The number of continuing education credits for this program will be stated here as soon as it has been determined.
