AADSM Mastery Program

AADSM Mastery Program

The AADSM Mastery Program is a comprehensive, clinically-focused and evidence-based education program limited to dentists, that provides dentists with the necessary training and skills they need to provide oral appliance therapy to patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. Upon completion of the program, dentists will have the competence and confidence to provide oral appliance therapy and build relationships with patients, physicians, and payers. The AADSM Mastery Program is comprised of two courses: Mastery 1 and Mastery 2 and offers nearly 100 credit hours of continuing education combined.

In 2022, Mastery 1 will be offered virtually only and Mastery 2 will be offered virtually AND in-person. Overviews of each of the courses can be found below by clicking on either the Mastery 1 or Mastery 2 logo. Each virtual course includes pre-recorded lectures and demonstration videos (where appropriate), two live, virtual Q&A sessions with the faculty, and an online discussion board. The in-person Mastery 2 includes in-person lectures, a networking reception, and an in-person exhibit hall. Those who attend the in-person course also receive access to the pre-recorded lectures, recordings of virtual Q&A sessions, and the online discussion board.

The AADSM Mastery Program requires several Clinical Competency assignments that require patient interaction. Registered attendees will receive detailed instructions regarding these assignments during each course window. Participants must have access to Microsoft PowerPoint to complete some of these assignments. Click the button below to download the overview of the of Clinical Competency assignments.
