2024 AADSM Annual Meeting
The 2024 AADSM Annual Meeting was conducted as a live, in-person educational activity in New Orleans, LA from May 16-19, 2024. The meeting consisted of three general session tracks (Tracks A, B and C) and an optional add-on Pediatric OSA Course. All session were recorded and are available for purchase. Session recordings will be available for a limited time on-demand from July 1, 2024 until May 9, 2025.

Pediatric OSA Course
Purchase the recordings for this one-day course, that took place the day prior to the annual meeting general sessions.This evidence-based course explored various aspects of pediatric sleep-disordered breathing and its intricate relationship with craniofacial development and sleep apnea.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants will be able to:
- Acquire knowledge about the management of obstructive sleep apnea in adults;
- Discuss state-of-the-art knowledge of recent advances in dental sleep medicine and sleep apnea treatment;
- Review the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea, obesity and other associated co-morbidities;
- Understand the evidence regarding long-term oral appliance therapy, including potential side effects and options for managing complications in patients with snoring and/or OSA; and
- Apply best practices for building and developing a successful dental sleep medicine practice, including an overview of proper patient management and development of care plans; creating awareness about sleep-related breathing disorders and their treatments; positioning your practice as a provider of dental sleep medicine; and proper medical insurance billing.
Continuing Education Information
The AADSM is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ADA.org/cerp.
The 2024 AADSM Annual Meeting was conducted as a live, in-person educational activity from May 17-19, 2024, consisting of three general session tracks (Tracks A, B, and C). All tracks were recorded live and are made available after the meeting for a limited time on-demand, therefore continuing education (CE) credits can be claimed for sessions either by attending them in-person, or by listening to the on-demand recordings after the meeting. Registration for the in-person meeting will include access to the on-demand recordings at no additional cost. Those who are unable to attend in-person will have the option to purchase access to the recordings after the meeting.
The AADSM designates this activity for the maximum of 33 CE credits.
Earn an additional 8 CE by attending the pre-meeting Pediatric OSA Course in person or by purchasing the recordings following the meeting.
Confirmation
After registering for the 2024 AADSM Annual Meeting, a confirmation email will be sent from the AADSM. Session recordings will be availalbe for a limited time from July 1, 2024 - May 9, 2025. All registered attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to access the recordings begining July 1.Cancellation and Refunds

- Member: To register as a member, the registrant must currently be an individual member of the AADSM. If the AADSM is unable to confirm that the individual is a member, the AADSM will register the individual as a nonmember at the prevailing nonmember fees.
- Student Member: To register as a student member, the registrant must currently be a student member of the AADSM. If the AADSM is unable to confirm that the individual is a student member, the AADSM will register the individual as a nonmember at the prevailing nonmember fees.
- Dental Team Member: To register as an AADSM dental team member, the registrant must currently be an individual member of the AADSM. If the AADSM is unable to confirm that the individual is a member, the AADSM will register the individual as a nonmember at the prevailing fees.
- Federal Service Member: To register as a federal service member, the registrant must currently be a federal service member of the AADSM. If the AADSM is unable to confirm that the individual is a federal service member, the AADSM will register the individual as a nonmember at the prevailing nonmember fees.
