Medicare PDAC Verifies More Devices

A custom fabricated oral appliance for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is eligible for Medicare reimbursement only if the Medicare Pricing, Data Analysis and Coding (PDAC) contractor has listed it as code E0486. Additional devices recently received coding verification from PDAC. As of Aug. 16, 2013, these are currently the devices that are eligible for Medicare reimbursement:
