Public Relations Campaign Update from Annual Meeting

At the AADSM 22nd Annual Meeting in Baltimore, our PR team unveiled the results from year one of the campaign - more than 125 million media impressions! If you missed it, below is a recap of our PR highlights.

  • Several national media stories, including Real Simple magazine,, First for Women magazine and "The Daily Buzz," a nationally syndicated morning news program
  • Featured articles in a number of dental and medical industry publications, such as Dental Economics, Advance for Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine and AGD Impact
  • Online conversations on Twitter with hundreds of participants and more than 11 million social media impressions 

In year two of the PR campaign, we will build upon the awareness we've created to increase the understanding of the benefits of OAT among potential patients and industry colleagues. A few highlights for the coming year include:

  • Editorial meetings conducted personally and virtually with editors in New York City and bloggers nationwide to leverage patient stories
  • More coverage in national television shows, newspapers and radio drive-time shows
  • More stories in dental and medical industry publications to position dental sleep medicine as a valuable field and position AADSM members as industry leaders
